Child Safety Standards

Last updated: September 7, 2026

Go Say Hi is an 18+ social app for discovering people, Activities, Events, and Communities nearby. These standards describe how we prevent and respond to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

1. Age restriction

Go Say Hi is only for adults age 18 and older. Registration requires a date of birth and blocks anyone under 18. Date of birth cannot be changed later. We do not knowingly permit minors to create accounts, complete profiles, message, or join plans. If we learn that an account belongs to a person under 18, we remove the account and related content.

2. Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM

Go Say Hi has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). CSAE includes content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, grooms, sextorts, traffics, or otherwise endangers a child. CSAM includes any visual depiction, including photos, videos, and computer-generated imagery, of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct. This content and conduct are strictly prohibited.

3. Prohibited conduct

Users may not create, upload, share, request, store, or attempt to circulate CSAE or CSAM on Go Say Hi. Users also may not:

4. How to report child safety concerns

Anyone using Go Say Hi can submit a private in-app report without leaving the app and without confronting the other person. Report is available from profiles, discovery cards, messages, Activity and Event pages, Communities, and related menus. Choose a category, add a specific reason and optional details, attach relevant messages or content when available, and optionally block the user. Categories include User May Be Under 18, Sexual Content or Solicitation, Illegal Activity, Threats or Violence, and Other. Reports are reviewed by Trust and Safety. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

5. Review, removal, and account action

Submitted reports are stored with context and any selected evidence for review. Trust and Safety, content moderators, and senior admins can place a report under review or resolve it by taking no action, removing content, warning, restricting, suspending, or permanently banning the account. Confirmed minors, exploitation, threats, and other high-severity cases are treated as urgent: content is removed, the account is suspended or permanently removed, and evidence is preserved. Users may appeal eligible restrictions through the in-app process.

6. Law enforcement and legal reporting

Go Say Hi preserves safety, moderation, and report records as needed for review and legal compliance. We cooperate with law enforcement when required by law. When we obtain actual knowledge of apparent CSAM or a confirmed minor on the service, we remove the material, take account action, and retain records needed for safety and lawful requests. Go Say Hi does not currently operate an automated NCMEC CyberTipline reporting integration. We comply with applicable child safety laws and will follow required legal reporting processes when they apply.

7. Child safety contact

For CSAM, CSAE, under-18, or other child-safety inquiries, including notices from platforms or authorities, contact Go Say Hi at legal@gosayhi.com. This mailbox is the public child-safety point of contact for these standards. Related documents: Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
